The ice maker dispenses well and doesn't get clogged. We really appreciate the lighted dispensing area. The shelves are easily adjustable and very easy to clean. The refrigerator runs very quietly. There is ample space in the refrigerator compartment and the freezer for a unit this size. We purchased a smaller unit due to our space constraints. We are very happy with our decision to purchase this refigerator and we definitely comparison shopped. Excellent refrigerator and we look forward to having it in our home for a long time. It is way too small on the inside. We are a family of four and nothing fits. I pizza or a gallon of ice cream will not fit in the freezer or anything else.

We have to buy smaller things and do smaller grocery runs just to get things to fit. Everything falls out when trying to reach back to get something in the back off the shelf. Would never buy a side by side again. The water dispenser leaks and runs down the outside. Is black so leaves a white reside which I have no idea how to get it off. Ice gets caught when we use ice dispenser and then it drips even more. Our one limitation was we wanted to match the other 'bone' appliances and again Whirlpool came through. The only negative was that this model was pricey, but we did not have the luxury of shopping around as we had food we did not want to lose to spoilage. Our household has suddenly tripled due to family needs, and our new fridge bears the extra load like a champ. Great craftsmanship in everything; the only problem is a sticking vegetable crisper drawer, the cause of which we are unable to determine. However, the deep and spacious storage in both the freezer and fridge, along with the temperature adjusting and holding qualities this appliance offers more than meets our needs. We are very happy with our purchase! The built-in water filter and in-door water and ice dispensers are a real plus - saves a lot of time running down the hall to the water fountain. One caveat - the freezer compartment is very narrow so (while it's perfect for office use) I, personally, would not buy it for home use. Like the three drawers, smooth clean crisp front and the extra room in the freezer because the cube dispenser is in the door. However, I would not recommend for a family of 3 or more and the motor, icemaker and water filling the cube trays are very noisy. If your sleeping near the fridge the ice tray releasing will probably wake you. Last con is that the water doesn't dispense very cold and after 8 ozs or so it's warm. We are drinking more water and no longer have to buy ice when entertaining. To prevent this, be sure not to block the vent on the top shelf!

We have owned several Whirlpool products over the years and have always been pleased with how they have performed. We own an older home and this fridge fit our existing space perfectly. It's harder to find a side-by-side that will fit in a smaller space, and it was very affordable. We would highly recommend this product. It has been improved since I last purchased one but there is only one complaint I have about the redesign. The icemaker located in the door instead of the upper shelf makes it difficult to get at the other shelves where I have my refrigerator located. The door cannot be fully opened as it opens against a wall. My biggest complaint is the ice dispenser. 90 of the time the ice button gets jammed and does not stop dispensing ice. You have to pull the bar to get it to stop. I had the repair company come out and look at it, and said that it is supposed to do that and does not need repair. I do not recommend this refrigerator. It may take several turns of th e leveling screws to adjust the tilt of the refrigerator. See Graphic 8. 4. Open both doors again and check that the y close as easily as you like. If not, tilt the refrigerator slightly mor e to the rear by turning both levelin g scr ews to the right. It may take several more turns, and you should turn both leveling screws the same amount. 5. Use a bubble level to check the leveling of th e refrigerator. NOTE: Whenever you need to move the ref rigerator, turn the leveling feet to the right until they are no longer touching the ground. This will allow the refrigerator to roll mor e easily. W ARNING Electrical Shock Hazard Disconnect power before removing doors. Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock. If the doors appe ar this way, use the instruction s in the previous sectio n to check the leveling. The doors are designed to be slightl y different heights when the refrige rator is empty, in order to accou nt for the weight of food that will be placed on the doors. If the doors ar e still not aligned after checking the leveling and loading the r efrigerator with food, follow the steps below to adjust the door alignment. 1. Locate the ali gnment screw on the bottom hinge of the refrigerator door. T o raise the refrigerator door, turn the screw to the righ t. T o lower the door, turn the screw to the left. 3.

Check that the doors are even at the top and bottom. If necessary, continue to tu rn th e alignment sc rew until the doors are aligned. 4. Replace the base grille.
