Not my bike of choice for winter riding but without a doubt she is embodying the spirit of the season.  I think if we all make a new years resolution to look this stylish while riding in 2016 it will work wonders for the cycling community in general.  

Santa is the obvious pick for Bro of the Week.   Santa delivered gifts to upwards of 7 Billion people last Thrusday night but still managed to squeeze in a quaint snowy ride through the woods with some friends.  Nice to see the big guy promoting a healthy lifestyle, while not letting the stress of the season get the better of him.  Happy Holidays Everyone.   

I consider myself a purist when it comes to cycling. Something about a simple steel frame road bike makes me feel warm and safe inside. I have strayed away from that pure and simple concept of a bike on two occasions, my xtracycle, which to my surprise and delight was one of the best bikes I have ever owned, and the other is currently "unfolding" as I write this. My current living situation does not allow me to own a full size bicycle. Its a lifestyle choice I have struggled with.

Maybe some of you think that Joe and I live in the attic of some apartment somewhere and all we do is compliment each other and talk about bikes. In fact this is only partially true. Joe and I compliment each other often and our main topic of conversation is bikes but we are in fact separated by several thousand miles of ocean. Through our time of separation we have struggled to keep the bike tube alive and growing. Joe also continues to struggle with emotional, attachment, drug related, and relationship issues but despite these has certainly done the lions share of the work.
