This is your prototypical European bicycle babe. She's probably Dutch or maybe German (I think it says something German on the fence), but definitely European. An occurence such as this is common in the bike friendly cities of Europe. Can't say the same for ole USA. So sad.
I lust after this. Sometimes a fixed gear isn't really all that. I know people rip on Trek sometime because they think European bikes are better, but fuck, Trek makes some sweet rides. Go USA!
This is the kind of bullshit that pisses me off. You know this chick hasn't ridden a bicycle more than 100 yards since she was 12. It's one thing to put a token hot girl on a hulking mass of metal like a Harley or a Ducati as ornamentation. However, planting a token babe on a fixy is ridiculous.

I've been lugging around a backpack or messenger bag with all my daily necessities (computer, snacks, booze, prophylactics, books for readin' etc.). But this week I've experienced the revelation that panniers are amazing. No more sweaty back to deter the ladies. Ortlieb is definitely the best of the bunch.
So I've been thinking about getting a touring bike for awhile now, especially since I have had a pair of paniers laying around for two years. I started browsing craigslist last week to see what I could find. I saw a sweet old-school Nishiki Cresta, but the dude never called me back and I am sick of downtube shifters. After sorting through a few more I came upon the Diamondback Interval.
