Ritchey WCS Logic Carbon Streem Handlebar

We look at contact points as being just as important as the component groups that we ride with. And if you're anything like us, your hand positioning is key. However, the question remains -- what marks the line between comfort and race-worthiness? Luckily,Ritchey has taken this question head on, and for decades, its handlebars have skewed the boundaries between weight, comfort, and aerodynamics. None more so, than the latest invention from the Ritchey Workshop, the WCS Carbon Streem Handlebars. The WCS Logic Carbon Streem handlebars use a full monocoque carbon fiber construction that bolsters rigidity while allowing the formation of aerodynamic shapes. And as a result of this mold, the Streem has received a distinct wing shape across the top of the bars. This shape both minimizes drag and provides ample space to rest your hands 80 kilometers into your race. A square bend at the drop of the bars creates a wide variance in hand positions, so your hands are never forced to go numb in one tucked-in position. Ritchey call this its R50 bend, and not only does it perform the aforementioned, but it also provides more space for your hands in the drop. Effectively, this design blurs the line between the far overused terms of 'ergonomic' and 'performance.' Reassuringly, Ritchey makes no claims to either, instead, the Streem allows you to get deeper in the drops with more comfort than what twisty 'ergo bars' can provide. Even better, the one-piece carbon mold doesn't sacrifice stiffness for this level of comfort. In fact, the oversized formations directly contribute to hard, rigid drives to the line. For clean, streamlined cable routing that won't dig into your hand, Ritchey incorporated formed cable grooves that run along the bottom of the bars. The Ritchey WCS Logic Carbon Streem Bars are available in the color Black and in 40, 42, and 44cm widths. Please note that these bars are only compatible with 31.8mm clamp diameter stems.
