I got decent results: The battery charged the Ipad from 57 to 99 in 5 hours, with 40 of the battery still left. I tried charging the Ipad when it was at 30 and that seemed to cause the battery to choke. In 7.5 hours, it only charged to 55 but then when I reinserted the battery cable, it charged up to 89 in a couple hours. When I charged the Ipad from 50, it charged up to 100 in 7 hours with 20 of the battery left. So it does work but there are pro's and cons to this battery: It carries a big charge and it will be great to recharge my Ipad 50 of the way while on the plane. But the Ipad must be in sleep mode (which is going to be common to any external Ipad battery). The 2 Kensington batteries I also use each only give an extra 20 (or 2 hours) of battery life to the Ipad but they are slimmer and only require a USB cable to charge them so they are more efficient to travel with. I like to travel light so for me, I think I'll stick with my Kensigtons but others who don't mind the extra adapter and like the additional power will go with Major Mojo. Please try again later. Today I tried it out on my various items and to my surprise not only did it charge my iTouch, iPod Nano, Blackberry and Motorolla roker phone, it also charged my HP IPAQ AND it even charged my Amazon Kindle 1! This item will definetly come in handy and I will be able to leave all of my AD charging adapters home and just take this one item with me. It does not take up that much space and is not all that heavy. Even the manual, with a little trimming, fits inside the case (with the manual alongside the battery, it prevents something from being pressed up against the battery buttons through the soft case and turning it on). As for the wall charger, it stays at home. On trips I simply place it in my suitcase until I reach my final destination. With this size battery and its available power, there is no need to lug around the wall charger. Some reviews mention that a cheaper version of this battery is available. Good customer service is often lacking with many companies. I consider it highly important when purchasing a product. Although I have not experienced any issues with the Mojo, I did have issues with another product from this company. Whenever I contacted them, they responded immediately, usually within a few minutes. I was even contacted by the company's CEO; communication was excellent. In short, my issue was handled in a MORE than satisfactory manner. I can't say enough about this. Purchase this product; you will not be sorry. I tested this with my iphone and it works. I do not consider this a negative, but some people might. 3gJuice explains using the wall adapter loads the battery much faster. I actually like the finish. I thought they were same product from customers review. Only thing different was the palm pre connector which is not included with major mojo anyways. I contacted the seller on i-up 5400 about the palm pre connector. Seller told me he doesn't have it available at this time but can get me one in about a week. That didnt work because I'm going to vacation on monday. Palm Pre uses micro usb to charge and micro usb can be used to charge nintendo ds lite which my son is taking on vacation with him. I bought more expensive battery because of bonus pack for Palm Pre. I will be shipping battery back to amazon for full refund. I hope they return overnight shipping price. It is well built and small (hand-grip sized) with good battery level meter lights on front face. I use it often since I ride the bus and subway daily. It has helped alot when Im in a pinch and loose power to my phone. The onboard LED side light is real handy for searching for stuff in my backpack at night or in the club when I play gigs. I was mega impressed, as for most companies you have to chase them down for Customer Support, but this time it was the company chasing me down to make things good. The product itself is really sweet. Nice backup for my Ipod Touch, which I take with me on long backpacking trip. I like to watch movies in my tent at night, but that kills the built in Ipod Touch battery. This unit goes on forever. It also has a really small LED 'flashlight' built into it, which is a minor feature but nice to have. When the product arrived it clearly had been previously used. The packaging was open, the user manual crinkled, and a small scratch was on the device. For all I know the product I was sent had already been used several dozen times. That would be a significant reduction in the products useful life.

Fur das Aufladen des iPhone 3GS muss man folgende Vorgehensweise beachten, sonst meldet das 3GS ein nicht-kompatibles Ladegerat: 1. Verbindungskabel nur am MajorMojo einstecken 2. MajorMojo per Knopfdruck starten 3. nun innerhalb von ein paar Sekunden das Verbindungskabel am iPhone einstecken, dann beginnt der Ladevorgang Man kann das iPhone beim Laden auch weiternutzen, was naturlich die Ladezeit bis zur Volladung erhoht. Ansonsten kommt die angegebene Ladezeit von ca. 2,5 h in etwa hin. Insgesamt sehr praktisch, wenn unterwegs mal der Akku schwach wird und mit genugend Kapazitat, um ggf.Das original iPhone Kabel braucht man also nicht mitschleppen. Den Akkupack kann man nur mit dem mitgelieferten Steckernetzteil (ist relativ klein) aufladen und nicht etwa per USB. Das ist zum einen ein Nachteil, aber da der Akkupack so mit deutlich hoherer Spannung aufgeladen werden kann ist die Ladezeit auch deutlich kurzer als es per USB moglich ware. Optimaler ware es aber gewesen, wenn man alternativ auch per USB aufladen konnte. Ein etwas unwichtigerer Nachteil ist, da.Kleinere Aufsteck-Akkus (die es auch vom gleichen Hersteller gibt) sind da eventuell etwas handlicher, aber die haben dann auch eine deutlich kleinere Ladekapazitat (ca. 1x Aufladen). Eine volle Ladung des Major Mojo reicht aus um das I-phone wie versprochen 3x zu laden, die angegebene Ladezeit von ca. 2,5 Stunden durfte hinkommen. Die Verarbeitung ist sauber und man hat nicht das Gefuhl billiges Plastik in den Handen zu halten, optisch wie vom Materialgefuhl her macht das Teil einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Das einzigste was ich vermisse ware eine kleine Transporttasche, die Pappschachtel in der das Teil geliefert wird ist fur den standigen Transport nicht geeignet und ohne Tasche ware die Gefahr zu gro.Von der Steckerauswahl die dabei ist wird man wohl jedes Handy bzw Mp3-Player laden konnen, es gibt glaube ich keinen Anschluss fur den kein Adapter mitgeliefert worden ist. I tried a case with an integrated battery but found a loss of cellular signal to be unacceptable. Thus, I decided upon an external battery source to serve as a backup battery supply. There are alternative external battery options that are cheaper in price, but after reading the various opinions of how each one operates, I chose this one. WHAT COMES IN THE BOX AC Adapter Retractible USB Cable USB Cable Adapters SETUP The unit must be charged completely before use. It is recommended that the unit get charged every six months. The manufacturer states this will last about 600 charging cycles.

Please try again Instead, I just used the Apple USB connector which works great if you use an Otterbox Defender case. My gripe about this product is that it worked really good early on where I would be able to charge my iPhone at least twice when it gave me the 20 power left alert before having to recharge the Mojo, but now when I try to charge the Mojo and it displays the fully charged blinking lights, it goes completely dead when I attempt to charge anything. This makes me wonder why it's no longer offered for sale here at present. So in trying to rectify my problem, I first contacted Mr. Henk van Ess about the battery dying only after 6 months of use and he offered to send me a new one at no charge so I'll have to wait and see if he keeps his word. Most manufacturers list contact information on the product packaging. If you can't find the information there, you might want to try doing a web search to find their phone number or website. This pretty much means your out of luck getting any kind of restitution from them. I may try the Satechi iCel 4400 mAh battery as an alternative. UPDATE, Feb. 22, 2010: A month has passed since Mr. van Ess' promise to send me a new replacement Mojo, but nothing has arrived. My claim was within the company's 12 month warranty too. This Major Mojo is a piece of junk and waste of money. I'm so disappointed. UPDATE, Feb. 24, 2010: Ok, so the CEO of 3G has made good and followed through on his promise to send a replacement for the dud I had for 6 months and it works great. I guess my initial request got lost during the holiday season since I originally contacted him around Thanksgiving time. Thank you for keeping your word Mr. van Ess. You're a stand up guy.
I've been using it recently for mainly my smaller electronics like mp3 players and cell phones. Please try again I had to buy a second one just to get the charger and they were sold out nowhere to be found. I decided to go with the cheaper iWALK U20 as they are the exact same product. They come with NO MICRO USB with either device. This is the new standard charger for devices and what my EVO 4G phone takes. I ordered a THIRD cheaper (and better IMO) device called Splash Intense 5400 mAh battery and it came with the tip I needed, BUT no cord to plug the tip into and was missing a tip (I think it was a return and someone kept them for their phone) The tip was not a big deal because I would not have used it anyway and the cord I could have used, but I have two from the other chargers anyway. The Splash Intense is my favorite as it can be charged with ANY mini USB and not a bulky charger that if you loose it you are screwed. I use my AC charger that came with my phone and one of my many USB mini cords I have laying around. I could use a 12V cord as well, but it charges slower. The Splash also has 2 USB out ports if you needed to charge 2 things at once. The Splash Intense only charges at one output 5V only. The ship is rocking back and forth and it is impossible to walk, much less read. Luckily I had this battery back-up and I was able to watch all my pre-loaded TV shows and movies on my iPod Touch 2G. The battery charges quickly and it never did run out of juice after about 15 hours of videos. The flashlight came in handy as well. Now, back to normal life, I use it whenever my iPod runs out of juice after about 4-5 hours. It really is a nice little accessory. Small, light weight, but sturdy.

Please try again Unit is well made and comes with an assortment of adapters for charging various types of cell phones or hand held devices. This unit charged my iPhone and iTouch (both devices were completely dead)on a single charge and probably still has juice left for another full charge of either device. Only real drawback is that it does not come with a micro USB adapter. It would have been nice to be able to charge my plantronics bluetooth headset with the mojo and eliminate the need to carry another charging cable in my bag. I own both 3G Juice devices. Both perform as described. If you travel or are a heavy iPhone user or like to watch videos, either battery is small enough to carry around for additional power when you run low. I most likely wont use any but the iPhone tip, but it's good to know they are there if I need them. You can also plug up your phone and charge both simultaneously. It works as it should. I really like the status lights which show your remaining charge as well. Oh.and they even put a hi-intensity LED on the side so it doubles as a flashlight. Nice touch. The negatives? 1 - It's large and has some heft to it. Not something you would carry around in your pocket all day. After using it for a few days, I believe it is well worth the price tag and is REALLY going to come in handy during those long plane flights. I've emailed them three times and called three times. Nothing, zilch, nada in return. When you call you get an operator who patches you to voicemail. You leave a message, and they don't return the call. You send emails and don't even get an automated response acknowledging receipt. I've emailed from my work email and home email. Nothing works, so I'm left with a dead battery I can't recharge. It's very frustrating to go out of your way and give a company multiple opportunities to sell you a product only to have them ignore you.
