This can cause the unit to stall at the rinse cycle. What you need to do is remove the back panel of the unit. The heating element must be removed to test it and the NTC. The heating element is an oval shaped part at the bottom rear of the wash drum.
To remove it just loosen the hexs nut and disconnect the wires going to it. Wiggle it out and remove it from the unit. Test the heating element contacts with a digital volt ohm meter (DVOM) set to the 2000 ohms scale. You should have 0.00 reading (continuity) If you do not replace the heating element. If you have continuity then test the contacts of the NTC (square connector to the right of center) and let me know what the ohms value, and ambient air temperature is.
