bosch nexxt 3200 washer manual

Send a Houzz Gift Card. Instead I have the XXSanitary cycle. Does anyone else have this instead of the quick cycle and miss it?? And what would you prefer?? The Bosch website says the 3200 have the quick-mix feature so I am wondering; the appliance store says it has a couple of features that determine water level and amount of clothes so it automatically adjusts itself, thus reducing wash times, but have not found this in the manual. Does anyone know? --thanks. It sounds like a 'cross' model with some 6400 features in place of 3200 features. If it doesn't have the quick mix feature hidden somewhere, check your documentation to make sure they sent you the washer you paid for. - DR It does sound as though they have a little bit of the 6400 features in lieu of some of the 3200's. Will post a follow-up. I'm thinking that your machine must have the 6400's electronics and cycles, but 3200's control panel, which might mean that the machine is inherently capable of a quick wash but you do not have the control to tell it to do so. If so, then at least this means you would have the slightly superior sensor technology of the 6400, which is some compensation for the lack of quick wash. - DR Also they said that if you have a small load, the washer determines this and washes the item faster. I would imagine less water, less rinse, etc, thus faster cycle -- no brainer there. If the machines went that high, they wouldn't give the lower number in their press releases and sales literature, since this one number is a big competitive selling point. I've measured my machine on temp boost (K-type thermocouple probe), and it was just over 151F at the hottest. This is pretty common among washer manufacturers, and is infuriating. It is not so much that they are lying as that they have no recognition that there is a difference between the truth and a fabrication. This is worse than lying, a liar has enough respect for the truth to intentionally flout it.http://hstechno.com/userfiles/3pk-nt007-manual.xml

But, no, I didn't get the plastic card. I will call the appliance co.Mine has the XXtra Sanitary feature that in the press release for the new models, says it goes to 170 degrees. It is written just like I have it spelled here -- on my machine, and on the new models. I did'nt think that was too bad considering the prices of many. Maybe I am wrong though. I hope I didn't get taken. Those models do also have a 'quick wash' cycle. I don't know how they intend to manage the higher temp, unless they include a larger element (which would be great, by the way). Weird that Bosch has no information about your model on their website. Did they include a manual for your machine. Does it actually match your machine. What is the listed power consumption (max.I recall from other threads that you also have a better door gasket than on the older 3200 models, and that your machine is working fine on your 2nd floor installation. I think you should be very pleased! - DR It is perfect for clothes that are lightly soiled. Run time: 39 minutes. I'm sure it has some sort of quick-mix feature (basically an abbreviated warm water wash cycle). And, by adding the power wash option those temps remain. On inside of door the amps listed is 10A. I sometimes use 900 rpm and my clothes are still dryer coming out of wash than ever before in my life with my top loader. Do you have some kind of waterproof datalogger you throw in with the wash? Other end pops into the multimeter outside the machine. This is no godd for measuring max temps on sanitary cycles, however, as many machines add cold water to the mix before venting the water (for safety reasons). - DR I'm often trying to figure out how to instrument this or that for measurement so it's good to hear how others are doing it. I'd guess the temp losses along the pump and hoses on the discharge circuit would make it difficult to get an accurate reading anyhow.http://www.dasita.com/files/3pk-nt007-manual.xml

I do know that I have the same XXtra sanitary as the new models, and I feel pretty confident that it will heat up to stated temp. -- I think they would have too much to lose if they did misrepresent that--at least I hope anyway. They did say that there are some of the 6400's features in this model. I am trying to determine if this is correct of if something else. In the store I couldn't hear anything, but there were other things going on in store. That model number is showing up on one vendor's website - an appliance chaing in Montana. I have done bedding -- all of it: full-size comforter and towel, one load; sheets and blanket in another. Also, I really haven't noticed the difference in length of wash times. It seems by the time I get back upstairs to put in dryer the load is done. I probably wouldn't use the quick wash all that often anyway, except for myself; but then that one pair of jeans wouldn't take as long in my machine anyway -- I don't think. I think I will be very happy. It is really an amazing machine for the price. - DR I definitely notice a difference in length times with this washer. That's how it works out with me.You can hear the button fly jeans banging into the stainless steel drum in a muffled tone, pretty much like most others. It depends on the brand of drawers. I now buy Jockeys, and they stand up great to high temps. I bought some JC Penny Stafford model under-drawers, and they do OK. The Hanes I had are pretty bunched up, but I'll keep using them until they wear out. Have you got the radar detector out yet to test the RPM's of the drum? LOL! We also regularly check our fridge temp, our oven temp, and look to make sure the cars have all their fluids. This doesn't take much time: in the case of the washer, only as much time as it took to insert the wire, and read it a couple of times, maybe 90 seconds altogether. - DR I used this today for my king-size quilted mattress cover and although a very long wash time, the results were amazing!!https://www.thebiketube.com/acros-3par-7200-manual

I have not seen this VERY bulky item look like this since the day I got it. It was white, AND consistently clean and bright all over with absolutely no residue. I used regular Tide powder --not HE detergent-- and also a LITTLE bit of bleach. The Unit I have only allows for a small amount to be added. I am really going to save on detergent as well as bleach and cost efficiency with this machine. I am very happy so far. I am doing my king-size comforter now with two pillow covers. I never realized how bad my old machine worked until now. You mentioned oxygen bleach. Are you referring to Oxi-Clean. What brand have you found beneficial and how much are you using. I know it has been mentioned about distilled white vinegar inplace of fabric softner. How much of that is used? Thanks We use around 2 tablespoons of vinegar, sometimes with a small amount (less than a tablespoon) of softener mixed in. - DR I saw someone recommend using the vinegar in the bleach tub since that goes in on the first rinse and the fabric softner goes in the last rinse. How much oxygen bleach do you use. Would that be too much? Thanks The amount of oxygen bleach depends on the brand (eg, Oxy-Clean has many fillers so is not very concentrated) and the load. I would start with around half the recommendation (that is, around 1 tablespoon), see if it works, and adjust from there. BTW, the oxygen bleach goes in with the detergent, not in the bleach section. - DR I noticed on a site some site it indicated until water temperature is above 130 degrees it is not as effective, have you found that to be true. So I don't have to reinvent the wheel, what brand are you using. I am sure you have tried many. It works fine in lower tems as well, albeit slower. Anyway, your Bosch will reach this temp easily. Most recently Oxy-Clean, since we got a big tub of it from Costco for a few dollars, but several people on this forum buy their sodium percarbonate from chemistrystore.http://dj-jhonny.com/images/bosch-nexxt-300-series-washer-manual.pdf

com, where it is very cheap and concentrated. - DR Many seem to say the only one with a window is the Platinum. How can you watch it work.I have two questions I hope someone can answer. What is the rinse temperature on this machine. On the list of what it has it states 3 rinse temps which I assume are hot warm and cold, but there appears to be no way to change this manually on the different wash options. Also what is the temperature on special programs like the soak or active wear and is there a way to manually change this. It seems dumb that the soak does not go into a regular rinse as this eliminates soaking a load and the having it wash all on time delay. Has anyone seen what changes will be on the new Bosch line in July. Thanks for any info you can give me. BUT -- please let me know if you ever do see this on the Bosch website. I wonder if my appliance store, Orvilles, got special models, or if this is a test for their new lineup. I didn't know though of the new lineup when I placed my order anyway. You get more choice in the 6400, including an integrated presoak. - DR It is the same washer as your's right. How are they two different brands but basically the same washer. Are Bosch and Siemen's really the same company. Also do you advise purchasing an extended warranty (if it's available) on this washer? On the other hand, one out-of-warranty service call will more than pay for the cost of the warranty. I guess it depends on what kind of peace of mind you want. We didn't buy one, and have not needed one, but I am marginally apprehensive because - unlike our older appliances - I don't feel at all capable of fixing this one myself should a problem arise. - DR Every question raised in this thread has been clearly answered quite some time ago. Maybe Bosch customer service simply didn't understand what you were asking. Telephone and regular mail are far more effective. - DR New member as of today. I think it's SVCMGR.

Pros: 1) It uses less water 2) It does an excellent of removing water from your clothes, which makes your drying time shorter. 3) It gets your clothes much cleaner. 4) It uses less detergent, softener, and bleach. 4) It is quieter. Cons: 1) Balance. (this is mostly user error; loading done by my kids.) Sometimes the offset weight in the tub is loud for a few seconds when in a spin cycle. But, to be fair, that happens with most washers. (I've seen top load washers shake and jitter 2 feet away from its original spot.) Bottom line: This machine is does as advertised. There is no support on the Bosch site and the dearth of info and the perplexing engineering makes this prime fodder for an unhappy time. Insomniac 4.0 out of 5 stars Cleaned out drain pump compartment, easy access, no tools required, just a rag and old toothbrush.

Pros: highly efficient, good clean, far fewer problems with the septic system since going to a front loader (family of 7, lots of water use.) Cons: 1) Very low, need to raise it up. Helps to wipe door gasket out occasionally to prevent mold and grime buildup, not a big deal. Cycle time can be unpredictable, but supposedly due to sensors and machine intelligence. Normal cycle time starts out at 1:00, gets down to:50, then changes to 1:10. Overall been a good machine. Bought at Lowes, they delivered, installed, and took away the junk from Sears at no extra cost. The 300 series doesn't have 170 degree option if you really like your clothes cooked. If not, save the bucks and keep it simple. Please try again later. Please try again later. schism 4.0 out of 5 stars Could see it rocking on your floor if it's not solid (but we are built up on piers--not slab) Usually research before buying, this time I did not. Got the washer home THEN read 2 bad reviews. Expected wadding and twisting of clothes, neither happens. Despite being told in the instructions not to open the door during the cycle, I always stop the cycle and add clothes and the machine senses it and adds more water. So maybe the lack of options are compensated by the smartness of the machine. I'm sure there are lemons, but a good thing to bear in mind is that people who are pleased with a product tend to not review it. I mean, it does what it is supposed to do, right? Please try again later. Please try again later. A. Campbell 4.0 out of 5 stars I have the following gripes: 1. The door often requires a good push to shut properly, otherwise it doesn't lock. 2. The machine is supposed to adjust cleaning times based on load weight but I've not noticed it do this. Perhaps it does, I've not timed it. 3. If the load is unbalanced (e.g. when I stick in my bath mat) it sometimes won't spin because it detects an unbalanced load.

Instead it tries to spin and repeatedly fails and so it can take a very long time for such loads to finish up. 4. The standard spin cycle isn't long enough. I have to manually make it spin a second time before the clothes are ready for the dryer. Overall I'm happy with it. It's robust. It hasn't damaged my clothes. It cleans them well. Please try again later. Please try again later. John Smith 2.0 out of 5 stars Good Luck! JennyG 1.0 out of 5 stars Be prepared to extend laundry day to laundry month, as the wash cycle takes so long on this machine your kindergartner wil be doing college visits before the cycle finishes. The door can't be opened and the cycle can't be manually advanced, so short of taking a hammer to the window you're in it for the long haul. It spins for 30 seconds, stops for two minutes, spins again for 30 seconds, stops again, and repeats this utter ridiculousness until it's convinced you that filthy clothing is far preferable to spending another day of frustration waiting for at least one wash cycle to complete. At this point I'm taking my clothing down to the river and washing it with rocks and I'm still back before one cycle on this pathetic excuse for a machine has completed.

I can't comment on the quality of the job it does as I don't expect to live long enough to see a cycle actually complete. Please try again later. Please try again later. Bill 2.0 out of 5 stars But after a while, I noticed that I was sticking to clothing and towels is my hands or I was slightly damp like when getting out of the shower. At first I attributed this it my softened water and I started using the extra rinse feature all the time and cut the recommended amount of HE detergent to half, but I kept getting stickier. In an effort to help the rinse, I added water at the beginning of the final rinse cycle. I was surprised at the huge amount of suds it produced. It was the same as if I just put soap in. Pros: Cleans really well. Cons: doesn't rinse very well at all. The outer door window is barely hanging on. The door requires an extra push for it to lock when starting the machine. Any time the machine is stopped, it goes back to the beginning of the portion of the cycle it's on instead of picking up where it left off adding more time to the wash. Please try again later. Never had an issue, never needed a service call. Please try again later. Please try again later. It's now March of 2013 and I have to replace it already. I did like it while it worked, but here are some of the downsides as well: - you have to make sure you clear everything from the door - it beeps when it's done without a way to turn off the beeping (the dryer of the same model at least gives an option if you want it to signal or not). I'm a light laundry user, so this machine did not see exessive use or abuse from me (it's just me and my 5-year-old daughter). Would NOT recommend. Good machines should last more than 3 years. Please try again later. Please try again later. Hold times are long. A noisy spin cycle isn't the end of the world.

The process repeats until the humidity in the drum falls below a certain point, as measured by a moisture sensor. Condenser dryers use roughly the same amount of energy as vented dryers, give or take, depending on the weather. It’s not clear whether they’re gentler on clothes. Reviewed.com has found that they run cooler than vented dryers, which means that they should cause less heat damage. But because they tumble longer, they cause more mechanical damage. Condenser dryers also radiate some heat and humidity into your living space, which might be nice in the winter but not so great in the summer. (Vented dryers might actually be worse for climate control, though, because they blow your heated or cooled air out through the hose, creating negative air pressure in your home so that outdoor “infiltration” air gets sucked in.) The other type of ventless dryer uses a heat pump, as in our upgrade pick. This is better technology. It relies on an active heat exchanger, filled with refrigerant, to remove moisture very efficiently. Though the dry times are about the same as in condenser dryers, heat-pump dryers use about half as much energy and are much gentler on clothes because they work at much, much lower temperatures than any other kind of dryer. They have almost no effect on your home’s climate control either.
