Joel 4.0 out of 5 stars If I had to make one improvement, it'd be a pressure-sensitive switch to vary the drive speed. It doesn't have this and that'd make it 5 stars.I cannot fault this product, the fact that the screw heads are held within the revolving cartridge makes switching between screw heads easy, especially if you are up a ladder or in the dark under the stairs as the unit lights up. You can swap the heads for your own if you wish and you can easily screw into wood without pre-drilling a hole. Really powerful and made fitting new locks a breeze. Five stars.??The rotating cartridge is really handy and simplifies the whole process. I wanted a light weight non scary drill and that is what I got without much sacrifice on quality. Would have loved it if it could drill holes but it is powerful enough to drive a screw into wood anyway if the point is marked out a little for stability.Here it is, simple to use, powerful and no more hunting for the right bits. I even changed the tool bit one handed when I had to hold something with my other hand.just to see if I could do it and it was safe to do so. Another nice feature is the USB charging cable, I am fed up of adaptors I have so many it takes ages to find the right one for the right tool (should label them really) but this just uses a USB cable and an adaptor. If you remember that, it's ideal - but this is in no way an alternative to an 18v rechargeable - just as an 18v rechargeable is no alternative to a mains SDS. In reality, it's an alternative to an electric screw-driver with a lightweight drilling capability. After three years, the battery was lasting about ten minutes so I started looking round for a new battery. A new battery was more than what I paid for the drill in the first place. Then I came across a 10v Li-Ion unit at one of the German grocery stores for thirty-five quid. I was that impressed, I bought an 18v Li-Ion one as well, even though my other one was only a year old.
