This roller enables the dishrack to move in and out of the dishwasher. Because these rollers generally wear out at the same time, we recommend replacing them in pairs. If the door is leaking then the door seal may be defective. Corroded or rusted dishracks should be replaced to avoid parts of the rack falling down and getting into the circulation pump damaging the pump. If the dishwasher does not wash properly then the wash impeller could be worn or the motor could be defective. The water inlet valve supplies water to the dishwasher. If the water inlet valve is defective, the dishwasher may underfill or not fill at all. Since 1912, we've learned to recognize the most common problems.Do any of these look familiar. Graham Charles 1.0 out of 5 stars Please try again later. Please try again later. Ivan 1.0 out of 5 stars Insides fell apart (plastic) but boy it is quiet. Now it is really quiet, doesn't work. Service options are limited. Twice the wrong part has been sent and returned. Now they are saying it is the correct part and don't believe their own authorized service repairmen. Waiting for them to send it again and walk service man (again!) through it. Ooops!! they forgot to send the part and now it is over 4 weeks since problem began. Part is still under warranty but only a replacement part (not the original) is available. Do not buy the product unless you like the silence.of it not working. Please try again later. Please try again later. JMann 2.0 out of 5 stars True that Bosch is much quieter than expected.you hardly know its on. But the problems which are mentioned in other reviews need to be addressed. First, the thing stinks. The stainless steel yields a wierd industrial metal smell afer a day or two of non-use. I tried running vinegar in it, no change. It was this way the first week and its still this way. And I do rinse off food before putting dishes in. Maybe steel is not suitable. Is there reaction with other metals that are being washed. Drying of items takes longer and most plastics in the top rack, ie, kids cups, don't dry at all. This is big pain as I have to dry them by hand to put them away. If you have kids then think twice about this, its a waste of time that isn't necessary with other washers.BTW the silverware doesn't get dry either.http://www.coppol.waw.pl/userfiles/bosch-maxx-wfl-2061-user-manual.xml

Another annoyance: The racks seem not to hold our particular type of dishes as efficiently as I expected either. Deep bowls like cereal bowls just don't seem to have a place. So they take up a lot of room. There are a few spots where vertical pieces were left out (along the side of the top rack - must have saved a whole penny there!), and sometimes plastic sipper tops or tupperware will slide out. Sorry Bosch, but that's the way this machine (SHE45MO6UC) is working out for me. I don't think I'd recommend it.Please try again later. Please try again later. K. Wolcott 1.0 out of 5 stars Wrong! I agree with other reviewers about the constant odor unless you remove the filter frequently and clean it. Also, items in the top rack are never completely dry. There is always water and sediment left, even though I rinse all of my dishes before placing them in the dishwasher (which I should not have to do). However, the biggest problem is with the bendable plate and cup holders that create the rows in the top and bottom rack to hold your dishes in place. The little plastic parts that attach the flexible plate and cup holders to the top and bottom sliding racks constantly crack, snap and break!!!! When the plastic parts fail, you cannot use the plate and cup holders as they are no longer attached to the dishwasher racks. You just have the flat rack with no upright sections to hold your dishes. The little replacement parts are expensive as you need several sets to re-attach the flexible cup and plate holders to the racks. Half of the top rack and half of the bottom rack have these flexible holders and every one of them has broken. This is not due to excessive use either as this is a one person household. Also, the exterior panel where you select wash cycle is VERY sensitive. If you lean against the dishwasher while working at the kitchen counter, the dishwasher will turn on. This is just a very bad design and I speak from 3 years of aggravation and costly part replacements.http://ninethreefox.com/?q=node/11309

I would swap this Bosch for a good old Maytag, Kenmore or GE model in a heartbeat! Please try again later. Please try again later. My old Kitchen Aid could handle three times more dishes than the Bosch, due to the poor stacking design. Also, the filter has to be taken apart frequently in order to clean out the debris or you have the odor of rotting food. The instruction manual does not mention how to take the filter apart - learned how to do this on a You Tube video. Frequent cleaning of the filter gets rid of the stink. Another design flaw. How could Consumer Reports recommend this dishwasher????? Would not recommend this dishwasher. It is quiet, but if I had it to do over again, would buy a Kitchen Aid.Please try again later. Please try again later. Vicky 1.0 out of 5 stars It has been awful from the start. The trays are poorly designed and don't fit most current bowls, glassware etc. Thus bowls chip constantly from movement. It has an unusual metallic smell after cleaning. It cleans very unevenly. It leaves a film on glassware. It dries so poorly that I have to hand dry every item. Water puddles at the bottom. I have had it serviced twice, used the recommended detergents, cleaned it with vinegar etc. I would NOT purchase this. My prior Bosch was also poorly performing. In contrast, my inexpensive Kitchenaid at our Lake house works like a charm and it's 15 years old. Please try again later. Please try again later. Becky 1.0 out of 5 stars Unfortunately it doesn't work very well. I used to rinse but not wash my dishes first, now I have to. If there are small bits of food that are still on the dishes those tiny bits plug up the little holes in the water spray arm. When that happens the dish washer leaves a gritty film on the dishes. If that grimmy film dries on the dishes they must be hand washed because it will not come off in another cycle of the dishwasher.http://adams-tool.com/images/bosch-she44c02uc-manual.pdf

That is annoying however its made worse by the fact that it is very hard to get the stuff out of the spray arm. The water spray arms come off but they don't open up so you have to use a pin to dig out or more likely push in the gunk into the spray arm and then get water in and shake and hope whatever it was comes out the larger middle hole. This is a total pain in the neck. I am now diligent in pre-washing my dishes which don't want do and I still have to clean out the sprayers several times a week to keep it working. Please try again later. Please try again later. M D 1.0 out of 5 stars Good for two years. Junk after thatPlease try again later. Please try again later. chrissy 3.0 out of 5 stars New one is much quieter. But difficult to load (particularly bowls). Doesn't have the water heater my old one had. Doesn't grind and dispose food like the old one- silly filter to empty. AND.worst of all. half the dishes in the upper rack come out with little bits of grit dried on if I don't totally rinse everything (which I never used to do and which the experts say not to do.) I thought it was just me, until reading all of the reviews here. Obviously, these are common concerns. I want my old dishwasher back!!!Please try again later. Please try again later. Tom Jones 1.0 out of 5 stars Overall disappointing. Now purchasing a cheaper non Bosch model. If you do go ahead with a purchase, only buy if you can purchase a 5 year extended warranty plan or you will be disappointed and out of pocket. Please try again later. Please try again later. Though I probably was cleaning the floor more often-lol- though the floor is easier to clean. On a side note, before making your final decision take your plates, pots or anything else that you want to fit into the dishwasher to the store and make sure they fit. I don't like the configuration of the racks in my Bosch and find that it doesn't fit some of my items as well as other dishwashers did that I owned previously..See More Will we regret separating our sink and dishwasher. Q Comments (23) Regarding your sink - the design is completely nonfunctional with that attached whatever it is. I opted for a large single basin ledge sink which has accessories which attach so that I can effectively turn it into more counter space - there is a draining board which fits on the bottom of the sink when not in use; a cutting board and a sponge caddy. If you have a dishwasher you don't have the need for such a large drainboard which is there ALL the time because you would not be hand washing and needing to dry vast amounts of stuff..See More Bosch SHP878WD5N dishwasher installation Q Comments (13) Basically they just ruined your brand new dishwasher. They are NOT made to be drilled through to mount them. You're just asking for leakage and possible damage to your floor, subfloor, walls and cabinetry. There is absolutely NO way that I would accept this..See More bigger dishwasher or bigger sink. Q Comments (14) ok so on to the next question then. The price would double.Would it look ok to have the sink so deep towards the wall in either case. There is an upper sprayer that cleans the pots just fine. Bosch does seem to gadget up its model line to grab attention. I've been told too, at WS where I bought them that it is okay but not ideal to put those in. I did forget and put the Ltd (the ones with the anodized al coating on the outside) and the outside is a bit mottled looking:-(.

The Stainless come out wonderfully clean from the DW - generally better than I'm able to clean 'em by hand unless I use BKF. The Ltd's stainless inside was brilliant but the dark outside surface no longer looks as ship-shape as it used to before it went in. Sorry I can't help you re: tall items wash since I don't have any - I do have that sprinkler though!:-). If so, I haven't used it either.:D I have washed some large and fairly tall items in the DW (cookie sheets, 6 qt mixing bowl, 8 qt soup pot), but I've never removed the top rack -- I just lift it to the higher position for a few things and never thought to remove it. If the installation guys left my manual here, I still haven't found it. They have one unit built by Bosch, and although I thought I was going to buy a Bosch badged Bosch, I got the Kenmore Elite made by Bosch. It looks different than the other Kenmores, very Boschy, so it is easy to spot. This model seemed to have a blend of the higher end Bosch features, and a lower price tag. It takes slightly under two hours to do the load, and is, of course quiet as falling snow. We've been very pleased with its cleaning power and have cleaned pots on the regular cycle with great results. Love the 8 minute rinse feature. You can also remove the upper rack. All in all a great feature set for us. Can take the logos off poorly printed mugs. (OK by me, I didn't like 'em much anyway!) I'm certain you will be happy with your Bosch! Thanks in advance. There is already an upper spray jet that washes from the top even with the upper rack removed (and works just fine on tall items). It may have some use but I haven't found one yet and it sure doesn't seem useful enough to be a deal breaker on another model (which was my point with the OP). Remove the rack (to do what the OP wants to do to wash really tall pots and pans) and you remove that upper spray.

The sprinkler is there to direct that upper outlet and to actually create a spray out of it - since, as I've mentioned, the upper rack and hence the upper spray arm is now AWOL. It appears that we are all unable to answer that question for her. I have a pretty tall pot that i have no problems fitting in, and I have put a large skillet in sideways and it fits just fine. I am very happy with how the Bosch cleans. I am very unhappy with the silverware baskets (separators are too close together for my silverware to fit through them, and the baskets are too shallow for the silverware to stand up much without them) and the folding tines - they don't stay in place when they are up and knock down easily - sending your dishes crashing. Very annoying. It also seems to be designed to hold tons of plates and not much in the way of things like mixing bowls and saucepans. I'd suggest taking some silverware, a cereal bowl and some other things you wash in the dw frequently to see how they fit.
