The tank does empty a little quicker than standard irons but due to its speed and efficient ironing you get more items ironed between each fill. Leave it in ECO mode and you get plenty of steam to iron lots of items. I've only had to set it to max once or twice for excessively creased items but ECO mode still gives excellent results. Not noisy at all as some people seem to think. It's a steam generator so obviously you get a buzzing as the motor is working but it's hardly loud. I watch TV while ironing and haven't had to turn the volume up. I'd say about twice as loud as the buzz you get from a fridge. The weight is a little more than a standard iron but not excessive. Spent just over an hour doing a huge pile of ironing without any aches or pains in my arm. I like the fact it's heavier as my last irons steam was so feeble I had to push down on the iron to remove creases, this iron you just move around the item with ease and creases are gone in seconds. It doesn't leak one bit and of course it's going to require more than average water, it's a stream generating iron. The noise is nowhere near as bad as others have highlighted, but the steam generator does make a slight noise in use but it's not that obtrusive. Where this does product does excel is the speed in which it heats up and the numerous options to get great results - quickly. The colour way and plastic 'metallic' finish feels a little cheap and tacky, but it's an iron after all, the finished results speak for themselves. Highly recommended!In fact I dropped it today on a hard surface and the back of it is shattered. Still look at the positive - I can buy a new one. This iron is just soooo good. I am an avid ironer and this is just so easy. I keep it on eco mode and unlike previous comments about constantly refilling the chamber, I find its not a problem.
