I would suspect that the quarter inch phone connectors would be best, and that they would definitly be tied to the volume control on the Boss. The RCA connectors could also work ok, but sometimes the RCA outputs are fixed, although that is not always the case.Meaning, that the volume control on the Boss, won't change the volume level of the signal leaving the Boss from the RCA connectors. So, you would turn the volume up and down on the Active Speaker volume control, or AV system volume control that you would plug the Boss into.to increase of decrease volume. But, I don't know if it is a fixed output level. It could be, or maybe it's variable.meaning the output level will increase or decrease in tandem with the volume control on the Boss. Or, it could be switchable.giving you both options.
