Amazon Customer 5.0 out of 5 stars I didn't see one scratch. It also came right on time despite Covid. Thanks!!!I asking for compensation because to send a parcel from Georgia back to USA would be more expensive than buy a new effect. It has so many that I still have not been able to fully understand this complex effexs peddle. My order was shipped on time boxed well and yes it looked like new and was in perfect working order. I have been playing guitar for almost 30 years and have used almost every pedal ever made. I own a GT-3 and GT-6 now I have the GT-10 and am enjoying the many up dates to this sound machine.

There is a steep learning curve with the GT-10 but well worth your time. I would say to anyone who likes the older models.get the GT-10 the sound will blow you away. It's also the quitest pedal I've owned. Now, I don't use my pedals anymore. I should have bought this early on so that I would not have wasted my money on those expensive pedals. What I don't like about it is the manual that came with it. I lacks explanation on some functions. It has the ability to change ANYTHING. If you don't like a setting, change it. It also has the ability to do stereo and assign effects to different output channels. The best part is that it sets on floor. The unit has every effect you can think of as well as a couple more amp models than you will probably use.If you want to be able to experiement and seek your ideal tones, this unit is definatly for you. The system is very user freindly and you can pretty much learn how to do most things with only a few glances at the manual. You can also assign any effect or any control to the pedals (Rate of delay or chorus for example) as well as use the guitar simulator to make your single coil guitar sound like a humbucker or vice versa.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Mike Walsh 2.0 out of 5 stars They charge in tandom. The clarity is better than a cable and a touch better than another wireless. Cons. After one month the transmitter won't turn off (it turns on by plugging it in). It'll charge but you're on a 5 hour window before it dies again. There's random crackling that my other wireless units don't get. Yes they're passive pickup guitars. I would NOT spend double the money for these. While this was a touch clearer than another wireless brand in a recorded sound test (same everything except wireless systems) it wasn't enough to get the issues. I haven't been able to get through to Boss but this isn't worth buying a replacement transmitter unless they offer it for free. However, this is a very reliable system I've found. If you really want a solid wireless that'll never (or almost never) cut out on you, you'll have to spend more money and get something in the 470-600mhz range. But for how easy this is to use, and how it works most of the time (don't put it by a router, and some venues it will cut out), it's absolutely worth the price. Always have a backup cable handy though and be sure to test it at soundcheck.Totally different sound compared to hard wired. I would not recommend this product.I don't even mind that it is a bit bulky, if it worked that is. I bought a set and sent it back thinking it was defective. I remember thinking Boss could never make something so terrible as this. The second pair i received was just as bad. The units stay connected but the signal drops or you can hear the interference. To keep this short, basically there was no way to go through a complete song without absolutely any drops unless i was facing the Rx and about 3 ft away. I now have 3 units and NONE are NOWHERE near any of these claims.
I am sending two back and keeping one just for the heck of it (I still like Boss) but i thought i would share this info in hopes that they improve this unit. That's my experience, if it works for you - that's great and i am happy for you. However, if you are not brand loyal and just want to go wireless, there are many many more cheaper options to explore. Enjoy your guitar, rock on.Update: I have since bought a set from a different brand that is thinner, less expensive, comes with a case that actually charges the units while not in use and these work flawlessly, near and far from the amp and I never had a single signal drop or interference.Works clearly 60 ft from the receiver. Could not say how long it will last, I have a buddy with another higher end wireless setup for his guitar, it drops out for no known reason on a full charge, he is quite frustrated and now plugging in with a cord again. I am happy with the BOSS unit. I used this for the first time in front of a crowd yesterday, it had been on the charger all night. It died in about 1.5 hours of active use. Not acceptable. I will be returning it.Update: The WL-20 works great with my UA Apollo Twin and UA Apollo 8p interfaces. No problem seating the receiver, sound is great and no noticeable latency. So I think the blame mostly has to go to Universal Audio for recessing the Hi-Z jack, but Boss should have taken this possibility into account when designing the receiver. I suspect the Arrow is not the only device that might have this issue. These wireless connectors enable me to roam freely on the stage, while transmitting the sound quality of my instrument very clearly. I have a Poweradd Power Bank under my pedal board that I connect to the end that goes into my pedal board, so I don't worry about running out of battery life. The end that goes into my pedal board will work WHILE it is plugged into the charger. The end that goes into my violin does not work while it is charging.

Doing these simple things lends this product to have no limitations. I have a lot of products by BOSS that I love, so this just goes on that ever-growing list of equipment that I would recommend. It doesn't have the range my Samson had but it also doesn't have the headache of running an extra guitar cable and needing an extra place to plug power into. This can sometimes be an issue when playing in older buildings. So you just charge it up before the gig and go.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again The built in kill switch is great, I switch guitars with no extra noise. I just have to remember what the light color means. Good battery life, use them all night without charging. Great buy for the money.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again The unit I received happens to be defective. It happens. I would not let this discourage you. The pin that slides in and out of the transmitter to turn the unit on and off when you plug it into your guitar arrived stuck inside. The unit did not turn on after fully charging it, so I returned it.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again Sorry, we failed to record your vote. No frequency changing issues, just really simple, intuitive tech to give you peace of mind plugged into an amp. Simply dock the transmitters to set up connection quickly and charge for up to 12 hours of playing time. Ultra-low latency also prevents a lag between playing and the amp producing sound. The result is a warm tone with a slightly rolled-off treble frequency. You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish. Switching between guitars is very easyI read so many positive reviews and had some loyalty points banked for figured what the hell! Works fab, no latency and great tone when used with Katana or GT 100!Great size, incredibly easy to pair and use, slick design. I have not been able to tell of any major difference in tone, a tiny bit on brighter in the high end maybe.I can’t hear any latency though there probably is a wee bit.Haven't used in a gig yet but expecting it'll handle itself. Battery life is the thing though so hoping that it holds its own over full evening's playingAfter receiving the product I charged it and had a couple of days of using it for practice. I could go in any room in the house and it connected without problem. No more tripping over cables!I used to have an old AKG one which was a pain with changing batteries in the transmitter all the time and the battery cover kept falling off.
I also have a Line 6 one which attaches to the guitar strap. That is excellent but I find the thing really heavy and you have to change straps and things if you want to use it on more than one guitar. The Boss one so far is my favourite, and I cannot detect any latency with it.That’s why we want to make it as quick and easy as possible for you to get your order, safe and sound! Basically anything where there's even the slightest risk of dying from being electrocuted. I'd rather fry the Relay than kill someone. I have no complaints about the sound quality but normally I wouldn't use this in the studio. But for health and safety reasons I like to use it for the examples above.
I do love the sound of old tube radios with guitar and they can be found for practically nothing at flea markets. The Relay is very easy to use, works as specified and I'm not missing any features at all. I'm not too happy about anything involving fragile micro-usb sockets though. Surely they could have used something else for the power cable. These things are bound to break and sooner rather than later. Build quality is as good as can be expected from a plastic product. Decent but not great. Being plastic it is of course very light so the docking station isn't particularly stable. I wouldn't keep it on top of my amp where anything pulling on the power cable could make it fall and hit the ground. One rather annoying issue for me is that the battery drains when the unit is left in storage for a while. I don't use old tube radios on every session so whenever I need the Relay there's usually very little battery left. To avoid mid-session delays for charging I need to plan ahead when I want to use it and that can be a bit problematic because the old tube radios are usually for spur of the moment stuff when the vibe is right. Still, I'm reasonably happy with the quality of this product and I expect most people use it differently from me and the battery issue won't matter at all. The micro-usb socket doesn't fill me with confidence for a long life on the road though. Send report Total handling features quality Works excellently, but beware of bricked transmitters blueveek, 23.05.2017 Fantastic product, assuming you get one that works. My first purchase was dead on arrival, and from my research it seems that there's some non-trivial subset of customers worldwide that end up with bricked transmitters, either straight out of the box, or at a later date (even months after purchase) without any obvious reason. Firmware updates are supposed to fix some of these issues (assuming you can even get the thing updated).
That being said, Thomann customer support was extremely helpful here, and promptly exchanged the product. The second one I got works perfectly, and really is plug and play. When the transmitter is charged, just plug it into your instrument, and plug the receiver into your amp or effects processor, and presto. Sound quality is excellent, over 2.4Ghz (same frequency most WiFi routers work on), and without any perceivable latency as far as I can tell. I wouldn't use it for recording (although I can't personally tell any difference between this and a cable), but it's fantastic for rehearsals. I'm a bit anxious to use it live (not fun if it bricks during a live setting). I've never had to worry about the battery running out if I remember to leave the transmitter charging overnight. It's very easy to forget doing this. Send report Total handling features quality Great if it wasn't for the usb port WillemAdmiraal, 04.06.2020 This wireless solution worked fantastically for me. I used it at home, rehearsals and gigs. In the end the usb connection for power started failing and I switched to the upgraded version with a normal power chord. Send report Total handling features quality Freedom 19.09.2016 The G10 is a step up from all the wireless systems out there that have a wire dangling between the body pack and your guitar jack. I upgraded from one of those to the G10. I often like to take my guitar off the stand and play it sitting down without a strap, so easy with this gadget, and so awkward when a body pack is on the strap with a cable to your guitar jack. I have read some reviews that grumbled about this unit having various malfunctions when it was first released. Well I took this out of its box, charged it up fully (it was partially charged when it arrived) and it has worked perfectly since. It holds its charge for hours of playing as advertised, and keeps its charge for hundreds of hours when not in use.
The bright, clear LEDs on the base unit and jack keep you well informed at all times, and look very cool. The range is fine, although it would not transmit through the 1 metre thick stone wall of my house, but what would. The sound and tone are 100. Absolutely clean signal, no crackle, hiss, or cutout. My only suggestion for improvement would be for the battery to fold back against the guitar body when plugged in. I love it! But one day Gibson will fit these inside all their guitars and it will become redundant. Until then I am totally satisfied. Send report Read all 366 reviews Rate product Standard Delivery Times.
