It was relatively easy to install and the heating unit now cuts in and out perfectly as the temperature changes. Very basic controller. Does the job and a good option if you just want a cheap upgrade from a crusty old mercury thermostat, but theres a few things which are annoying and could easily be improved. So Simple to operate and to install. Highly recommend this product to all. Out with Old Anolog thermostat. The thermostat was the correct one for my heater, easy to fit and works as expected. We can supply and install Auckland wide. I am in Melbourne and would like to get a smart thermostat(Nest, ECobee) etc. installed. Where can I buy one in Australia and who can set it up for me. Apprently setting up it's not too hard, but I just want to make sure I get the proudct thats compatible with my existing one. Any help is appreciated. Used existing wiring and battery so i didnt have to run new cables. Is it wifi enabled? I'd like to replace them both if possible. I am going to get an electrician to get an earth wire to the thermostat from the near by plugpoint and hopefully it will resolve the c wire issue. The existing wires are marked as R and W at the heater end but the wires are not colour coded. Once the 'c wire' is fixed we should be able to identify W and R at the thermostat end with an AC volt meter. This will allow me to finally get rid of the ugly and dumb manual controler and fix a smart Nest:) In my case I had to get an earth wire from the nearby plug point. So I got an electrician to do the job.

I know you can't manually adjust the fan speed on this particular controller, however if you upgrade to a better controller unit that has this function, will it work? I'd like to update it for them to adjust the fan speed. I guess it looks like a crawl into the ceiling space to check that heater box model. I'd like to update it for them to adjust the fan speed. It still can't be adjusted from the controller, but you can turn it down a bit. It's working perfectly. My question is, is it possible to control both heating and cooling from my Nest thermostat? Are there any benefits. Or the effort outweighs the benefit? Cheers. Our AC has a perfectly functional thermostat and she who must be obeyed overrules any smart algorithms or AI, energy saving be damned. You are in a good position to see how your Nest goes for controlling your heating, then decide whether it's worth extending to cooling. My question is, is it possible to control both heating and cooling from my Nest thermostat? Pickups up the zone and other config. The NC1 is upgradeable to NC6. And the NC6 is upgradeable to NC7.? I don't want the wifi kit, happy to just have a touch panel. BTW MacFox, are you sure about the current emp not reporting. As it is something we use quite a bit since the set point temp sensordoesn't seem to be always correct at times. I only have the NC6s. Looked at the Touch and didn't see the value. Well 2 questions. Is there any physical connection from wifi module back to the furnace? I already had the NC6 and was 5 minute install. 2 wires plus plug pack. Well 2 questions. Is there any physical connection from wifi module back to the furnace. The wifi module sits next to the furnace and connects to the two wires up there. It receives the master controller settings etc through that wired connection. Well 2 questions. Is there any physical connection from wifi module back to the furnace? Power and data run over the same two wires.

The WiFi controller is wired in parallel with the Master NC6 and optional slave. Very simple to install. Not sure how they failed to include that essential requirement. Zero response on bugs in the app or feature requests. It's pretty much the app and that's it. Two Masters cannot be connected to one Also if both Brivis Networkers are set as Slaves, the Brivis Draw the wires from the wall cavity and feed them through the Then mount the backing plate on the wall before making the wiring This will allow for Ensure the batteries are correctly installed.
