When I was buying this START 50M, I could not find its specs of internal memory anywhere on the internet. Tomtom's official website only shows START 50, which is listed as having 8G internal memory and a microSD slot. So I assume that START 50M has the same spec, only with US map preloaded instead of the Europe map. Well, guess what, START 50M has no microSD slot and only 4G internal memory. A GPS device 4G internal memory with no expansion option means that you have to remove US map before you can load a 2.5G Europe map. A process that takes a couple of hours. And you need to do it again once you want to install the US map back to it.This product attracted me because of the lifetime map updating. Since I had old TomTom, the usage of the device was pretty similar which was good for me but there was a few inconvenience compare to the old one. 1. Turn on and off: If I start an car engine slowly, the old one turned on automatically. After stop the engine, the old one turned off automatically.

The actual machine is okay. Generally not quite as good as the similar priced Garmin in build,m screen quality and clarity but perfectly acceptable. The plus over Garmin is that their online software works - with the proviso that you have a compatible device that is. So to round up, TomTom knocks Garmin into a cocked hat with regard to their online updating system because it works with minimal fuss. But zero out of ten for the fact they have not made clear what maps are compatible with their products.Nothing else has fallen over as a result of this bug and - inevitably - there was no prior indication of this vulnerability or I would not have bought this model. Tomtom now have the insolence to suggest that my best fix is to buy another tomtom that does not have this problem. They are suggesting a Go Premium at ?295 - and this is supposed to be a bargain. If I were taking pictures of both my girls I would want to make sure my aperture was at least at f2.0. I like it to be around f2.8 when I shoot my girls though. If there are 5 people then you would want to be at least at f5.0 and so on. When shooting landscape you would want your aperture number to be a lot higher so that the majority of your picture is in focus. The lower the number, the more light is brought in. The higher the number, the less light.When I had a kit lens (the one that came with my camera body) on my old canon, the lowest it went was f3.5. This made it very difficult for me to use in low lighting situations such as indoor shots. Also, with an aperture that high you are less likely to get a blurry background.
