I can't suss that out though. I've read and re-read the manual, but can't work it out. I should be able to enter the following info on eXtremail somehow: POP3 mailbox: pop.myaccount.com username: myname password: mypassword And then of course, eXtremail should have the mail for my clients on my little network. (As I mentioned, my clients can definitely log on to the mailboxes I've set up on eXtremail. It's just that I can't work out how to make eXtremail go to the Internet and get my e-mails.) Anyone used eXtremail and know how to enter the above parameters so it will go on to the Internet and pick up the mail from pop.myaccount.com?

Advantage is that you don't need real users system account on the machine. Backup of mail is simple because you backup only the directory with domains and its subdirs. Updates are very easy to append; normaly is needed to change only the binaries and restarting the server. Server is offering all kinds of security so there is no problem with it. You have also a lot of add ons such as antivirus, attachment, spam filtering. You can also have mailing list with Ecartis or Mailman.
