One of my hobbies is car audio and I build quite a few subwoofer enclosures, kick panels, speaker rings and other small stuff. I bought this fine machine through amazon and received it in a few days. I also bought 2 of the 5 ft tracks, and the Festool bars to connect the tracks together. I also purchased the Festool Parallel Bars so I could make repetitive cuts accurately. I now can cut down sheet goods with hardly any effort. Who wants's to lift and carry heavy sheet goods and risk hurting yourself. I no longer have to maneauver a 4X8 sheet of MDF to a table saw and TRY to cut it straight. Instead of lifting the heavy MDF, I now slide this track saw on top of the MDF, an make my cut in less then 10 seconds. I also purchased the Bosch hose which connects to the dust port on the Festool TS55. I can collect about 95 of the dust right now. The blade that comes on this Festool TS55 is very nice and makes some superb glue ready cuts that I've only seen using a higher end cabinet saw with an expensive saw blade. My cuts are now much better and that means that my enclosures will be solid and virtually air leak free once I put down a bead of TiteBond Ultimate woodglue on my joints. Do yourself a favor and check out this machine. If you do any sort of woodworking, carpentry, finishwork, remodeling, this machine might just save you some time, be lighter, and safer to use then a clumsy job site saw. I recommend that you buy an isocket outlet device so that when you turn on your Festool, your shop vac turns on automatically.Very straight and splinter free cuts. When using this saw, I don't have to where a respirator or ear plugs (I always wear safety glasses but it is a little overkill when using this saw). However, I dreaded dealing with 4x8 sheets on my table saw as they are awkward as well as heavy. This saw fits the bill. I bought both 5' and 8' track which I think are a must have if you want to get a finish cut in one pass. The saw is light and sleek and glides on the track. The tracks are great too. They grip well even when I have some saw dust on the plywood. I used Dewalt clamps to hold the 8' track in place but I generally don't use them for smaller cuts using 5' tack. I bought the clamps when I bought the saw and str8 edge. The clamps are still in the package. I plopped the guide down, aligned the marks with the edge, and ripped away. The guide never moved, I made a total of 15 ripping cuts and not a single piece was less than perfect. I had to resort to a separate straight edge to get them properly aligned.
