There are many types of headlight bulbs in use today including sealed beams, halogen plug-in bulbs, LED (light emitting diode), and HID (high intensity discharge) bulbs. All headlights are designed to provide a well lit driving path when natural sunlight is not enough. This is the most common scenario. LED and HID lighting do not dim with age and thus are generally only serviced if the light source has failed. Note that in some cases, the bulbs are not the underlying issue that leads to the need for replacements. Instead wiring to the bulb, terminal connections, bulb sockets, and system components could be the underlying problem. The bulb in the rear dome light worked fine.Luckily, I had already converted my plate bulbs, so I had spares, all was fine. Otherwise, these are fine. Brighter than the factory bulbs, but not as bright as high quality LEDs (those cost as much as this whole kit for a pair though, so that's fair). The kit also doesn't come with instructions, which isn't a huge deal, but would be nice to see.Makes the car have an even classier look. One thing to note however, is the vanity lights are really bright as well. If you do not want a very bright light, then I would look somewhere else.The Led bulbs are so much brighter and better looking than my previous stock ones.
