This enables you to easily enjoy rich sound effects just like you were in a theater or concert hall at home. Attach the supplied speaker labels to the speaker cables, and then match the colors on the speaker cables to the corresponding terminals. The directions given here are only one option and should only be thought of as such. The crossover frequency is the minimum frequency delivered to a speaker and can be set to 60 Hz, 80 Hz, 100 Hz, 120 Hz, or 150Hz. This setting is valid when “Subwoofer” is set to “Yes,” or for speakers that are set to “Small,” at the “Speaker Config” menu. The Muting indicator will flash and the sound from the speakers or headphones will be switched off by the receiver’s audio muting circuit. Also, by presetting radio stations that you listen to frequently, you can select them easily by pressing the CH button on the remote controller. The configuration of the speakers is very important for the surround sound. Refer to “About Home Theater” on page 14. Before using a listening mode, make sure the Speaker Config has been set (see page 33). Once the parameters have been set, it is not necessary to set them again. In a movie theater, film soundtracks that have been encoded with Dolby Digital Surround EX technology are able to reproduce an extra channel which has been added during the mixing of the program. For more details, see page 57. When using the remote controller, first press the RCVR Mode button before preceding to the step below. After pressing the Zone 2 button, you must press an input source button within 5 seconds. Upon using it a bit more, I noticed a bit of distortion at high volume, more so in the left channel. I checked the DC offset at the speaker terminals, and the L channel said 100 mV, while the R was 25 mV. I understand this isn't so good for the L channel at least, but unfortunately this amp doesn't have any DC offset adjustments. Am I right in saying that to fix this I'd have to replace the output transistors?So I hooked up my voltmeter to the test points, and I got 4 mV on the L, and 8 mV on the R. In the manual it says should be 40 mV.(!). Is there something wrong here.
