Unplug the power supply, unscrew the back cover and dry the water at the bottom of the machine. Remove the plug from the electricity for 3 minutes and push the lock and try to open the door. I am trying figure out how to add soap, softener and bleach to my clothes and during which cycle but the manual does not cover it for the Logixx 8. Have tried everything. There is a symbol showing to the left of the child lock that has not been on before. Note sure what it is I have empatien the maskinen for water from the lid, i have tried to Take out the Contact, the program is finished but the door wont open. Simply pull on the cable to release the door. Try to push it and run the program again. The maschine does not te water to empty. What do I do ? No child lock on. The F18 error has not showed the last two washes, but water continues to pour out the bottom (I have stopped the last two washes after a couple of minutes for this reason). Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning. If both the filter and pump are definitely clear, it COULD be the control board OR the main motor. Motors will show weaknesses when commanded to spin. John CLook around for a propeller shaped part - it should be able to spin freely. If not, remove the debris so that it is unblocked. Good luck!I also had this problem - the machine was full of water and it flashed up F18. I had to drain the water out of the machine using the small pipe located next to the drain filter. I used my oven roasting tray which was perfect for the job. Then I undid the screwcap filter. There was a lot of really black water that came out, along with about two pounds worth of coins. The fillter knob has broken and i can't undo it to clean it out.There are two options to fix this. Firstly try turning the filter one way then the other to try to dis lodge the item. This usually works after a few attempts but if not you will have to remove the large black pipe from the pump and try to remove it from there. There will be some water in this pipe. Hope this helps. Other times it won't restart so I've noticed that by turning the dial back to the off position and wait about 10 seconds, then turning dial back to the original program will get the program to fire up once again. This all started about a week ago. Up until then perfect function. I've tried other programs such as the rinse and the spin - the same symptoms show up. Machine was purchased June 2012. Any ideas? I found objects in the drain pipe leading to the water pump, checked for any moisture around the interior of the cabinet, and tried to start a new cycle, but it has tripped the fuse again.
