Quick Ship may not apply to multiple quantities of the same product. Most of us tend to glance through the manual when we first get our spanking new machine and experiment a little with the settings, then end up picking a couple of settings to stick with forevermore. All the different buttons, symbols and timings might seem daunting, but it’s worthwhile to know how to make the most out of your washer dryer to save you time, energy, money and also, wouldn't you want to take the best care of your clothes? You can also use this function to wash out stains, just be sure to first try removing the stain while it’s fresh by dabbing it with a bit of soap water before popping it in the wash. It pretty much guarantees that you’ll never have to wash any laundry by hand ever again. To keep things simple, here are 5 easy to remember categories: Cottons: Standard washing programme for textiles made of cotton or linen Easy-Care: For textiles made of synthetic materials or blended fabrics Mixed Load: For washing natural and synthetic textiles together in a single load HygieneCare: Pretreat dry laundry by hot air followed by a low temperature washing cycle to achieve the most hygienic wash results for non-delicate fabrics. Drum Clean: To maintain the hygiene of the washer drum and remove residual lint. Materials such as wool or silk may be on the no-no list, but it's good to check the labels and make a mental note of items that can't go in the dryer. There are two different types of drying programmes - Gentle and Intensive - so pick the one that suits your needs. Regular cotton items or lighter clothing would be more appropriate for a Gentle Dry, while towels and sheets would be better suited for Intensive Dry. Now that you know all that your washer dryer can do, I bet you can’t wait to try out a new setting with your next load of laundry!http://beskanna.ru/img/bravo-ii-autoprinter-manual.xml
As a general rule of thumb, always follow the temperature and wash programme selection instructions on the care label to keep your clothes in tiptop condition. A dishwasher washes dishes and utensils both quickly and precisely, giving you the luxury of relaxing at home without having to worry about washing up after your meals. The best way to reduce water and energy usage is to simply learn how to operate home appliances such as your washing machine in a resource-efficient way. Here are 4 easy steps to get you started. Yes, it has continued to wash clothes for several hours while I was at work and the count down stays at 1 minute left, it never finishes, it never changes cycles. Sometimes it just doesn't spin the clothes, it will get to the spin cycle, and just slowly spin for ever without getting up to full spin speed, again, it never finishes it's process. Sometimes the door lock doesn't work, it will not unlock, and just keeps trying to unlock again and again. Sometimes I hit pause and it causes an error, and it starts the drain and spin cycle immediately. No wonder Bosch stopped making washers and dryers. After a disaster of a machine like this, I am sure they have lost all credibility in the product category. I made a quick buy based on price and immediate availability, when moving into a new home that had no washer or dryer. I come from Europe and am used to, and expect, front-loader washers. I expect more features, better usability, and much better quality than I have with this washer. Problems: - Almost impossible to find, open, clean and replace the seal of (in a water-tight way) the lint trap. You have to pry the front-bnttom cover of the washer off with a screwdriver (through holes located on the sides, both sides, of the washer, so you first have to pull it out from wherever it's installed--you cannot remove the cover from the front only). The screw-on top to the trap is at an awkward angle inside the machine. Any grit that has accumulated within the lint trap gets trapped in the threads and makes it almost impossible to replace the top and make it fully water-tight. As it's a good practice to clean the lint trap regularly, this is REALLY poor design. All other washers that I have used have the trap cover in an easily-accessible place. - There's no way to program for an extra-heavily-soiled wash (i.e., no pre-wash program). Program choices are very limited. - THAT DARN PINGING that goes on, and on, and on when the wash is finished. Yes, you can turn it off but as it's a matter of pressing certain buttons in a certain order, it resets itself on a regular basis and PING PING PING PING PING darnit I know the wash has finished and I'll empty it in my own good time stop PINGING. Please. - And a note for anyone installing any washer and dryer. Make sure to ask the installers to put the washer on the left and the ddryer on the right, otherwise they WILL do it the other way around. And then when you go to wash somthing, you'll find the doors open towards each other. Then you'll either have to reinstall both the washer and dryer, or keep struggling to move the wet washing over the doors into the dryer. (NOTE TO SELF: remember this next time!
) Good points: it's a front-loader washing machine, it washes clothes well, it has an eco-friendly setting (lower temperature), and it does the job. If I were buying again, I'd go (slightly) more upscale. Please try again later. Please try again later. Jim O'Rourke 1.0 out of 5 stars When it overheats, this means the door will not open. Our technician has been here half a dozen times trying to fix it. The entire door latch mechanism, and some other surrounding parts, have been replaced, but that doesn't fix the problem. Even before this problem started, it had a bad feature of retaining water in the folds of the front rubber gasket. You have to towel out the excess water every time you finish a wash. If you don't, the machine will soon stink. This is an annoying piece of junk. Please try again later. Please try again later. MM 5.0 out of 5 stars The Bosch Vision is different from other machines I've owned in the past in terms of cycle selection, temperatures and options so it does pay to familiarize yourself with the manual before use but it's not difficult to get up to speed in 15 or 20 minutes of reading. I do agree with one reviewer who said the handwash cycle isn't great for removing stains or deep cleaning. It is a very short cycle designed to keep delicate clothes in top condition and at this it succeeds, just don't expect deep cleaning power. I do generally run most cycles with an extra rinse but this machine cleans with incredibly small amounts of water, even with the additional rinse the total water consumption is very low. I'm amazed at how little detergent is necessary to achieve a bright, fresh appearance and feel to all my clothes. The manual warns about using too much detergent and I think other users either do not read the manual or don't understand how little is needed for optimal cleaning. I use Method liquid detergent which says four pumps is for one load.
I've experimented with different amounts of detergent and learned that most small to moderate sized loads of normal soiling get super clean with only one pump of detergent. For more heavily soiled loads with oils, greases, sweat and other contaminants that break down the detergent I've found two pumps provides better (excellent) results. I might use three or four pumps but only for large loads of clothes worn by a deep fry cook or mechanics overalls full of oil residues. And at 4.4 cubic ft. you can do some rally large loads. I washed a load of really absorbent thick white cotton bath towels that completely filled the drum using two pumps of Method detergent and one ounce or regular bleach and they came out smelling fresh, looking bright and super soft and fluffy. Smooth and as close to silent as one could hope for - the sound barely changes from small to huge loads and I've the machines have never shaken or vibrated regardless of load size. I don't understand the problem some have reported with mold. The only precaution I've taken is to leave the washer door slightly ajar for one day after I've done laundry (then I close it if I want) and there has been nothing but fresh, clean smells. I can't say that about my first front-load laundry pair (Maytag Neptune). They molded within the first month or so and the smell never went away even after I had the redesigned seal installed. And the Neptune never got my clothes completely clean. The Bosch manual says too much detergent can cause mold and I think this is the likely culprit for those who have reported a moldy smell from the Bosch. Only use a small amount of detergent, less than you think will work. You will save a lot on detergent costs and have clothes that are cleaner and fresher than ever. This is a difficult concept to come to terms with for people who are accustomed to water-guzzling top loaders. Please try again later. Please try again later. Consumer66061 2.
0 out of 5 stars They are probably okay if you are a complete Nimrod, and want the standard settings on the machine to do the thinking for you, but I have been doing laundry many years now, and I know what temperature, cycle, etc.It does however, think that a choice of spin speed is vitally important, because you can change that on every cycle. I don't really know what temperature these wash in-(and unless you refer to the graph in the manual, you won't), so I only use them for those things that have been washed 1000 times before. Many cycles seem extra long-the Xtra Sanitary cycle is about 3 hours long when you add a stain cycle. And you may think I am kidding on this next thing, but the minutes during the countdown of a wash cycle are sometimes much longer than a minute. One time, a cycle had one minute left for 5 minutes- and this is not the same everytime- Seriously. Now, let me be straight, I have found nothing seriously adverse about the way they clean the clothes. That's pretty standard. The drying on the otherhand, takes some creativity on which cycle (usually cycles) to choose to get the stuff dry in the least amount of time. The end cycle signals are the MOST annoying feature. They ring incessently (okay, that's a lie.they do stop after sometime longer than 20 minutes of beeping about every 6 seconds). I haven't let the beep go on much longer than that, because it drives us crazy- but if you are trying to sleep or just can't get to the washer right away- it will drive your whole household insane until someone rushes in and opens the washer door to stop it. How many times do you have to be reminded that the wash cycle is finished. Once or twice would suffice, right. The dryer also has its own annoying cycle beeps- which can be changed if you want to. I am still figuring this out. Rinsing well seems to be a problem, and I only use 1-2 tablespoons of detergent, as recommended, even if you add the Allergy Rinse. This leads me to vibration mode.
On Max Spin our whole house vibrates- sounds like a helicopter is hovering overhead. We have now opted to choose a lower spin speed each time we start another load, if we actually remember to do it. We, after wrenching these two monster units into place in our newly remodeled laundry room, erroneously assumed we could switch the washer door opening, as we could on the dryer. Uh-uh. So now we have a washer that opens to the wrong side. Umm, what else? Oh, yes.the drying cycles (on the dryer of course) restart their time ALL OVER AGAIN if you happen to want to open the door to check on how your load is doing, or add another item. For example, if you have chosen a cycle that takes 60 minutes, and it's been running for 40 minutes- and you are wondering if your shirt is dry enough yet so you open the door to check on that shirt- and no, it's not dry enough so you throw it back in and close the door. The timer then automatically re-sets back to 60 minutes- (no kidding). You get to start all over again, or choose another cycle entirely. So, if I had enough money to give these away, and get another brand (like my old LG's), I would. If this helps someone else avoid some angst, then it has been worth my time. Please try again later. The part was replaced under warranty, but of course the labour was not. While the local service people were good, the Bosch service center response left a lot to be desired. I have looked in the internet and you find mixed reviews some excellent some very bad. I am a little worried about reliability after reading some reviews on the internet. The tub is not slanted so you get the whole bottom area for washing. Bosch claims the heater works to keep the water at the right temp.Big questions in regards to when the heater actually works on the other big companies (LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, egc.) If I had to buy a new machine dthe 500 in grey would be it. My wife and I had similar concerns after searching for internet reviews on the Bosch. It was hard enough to find any reviews at all since they are somewhat new models. In my opinion more people will post more negative reviews than positive, its just the nature of negative experiences. If a customer is happy they tell 4 people if they are not happy they tell 100. In the end we were deciding between Samsung, LG and Bosch. Two dealers I went to stopped selling LG last year because of reliability issues. That was enough for me to cross it off the list. We were torn and depending on the day of the week we were leaning one way or the other. It sounds a little silly but we finally went with Bosch as the build quality felt better and in small part because it is built in the US. That fact is usually irrelevant to me but this time it was enough to influence our decision. If a machine has an issue these days its most likely electrical and not mechanical. But if you are not you can still try to get it after you tell them that BOSCH Canada has this promotion,I found this on my own none of the the salesmen I went to see were aware of it. good luck I am really excited to get ours since we currently have a 20 year old top loading Maytag in a lovely almond color. I love the sound of the machine at high speed it sounds like a smooth jet engine starting up, maybe I can use it when I play with my flight simulator.
As for the dryer no problem, very light weight, I made the attachments, leveled it, ran a little test and that was it. The cloths came out super clean, super fast and almost dry !!! if these machines perform like this all the time doing laundry won't be a choir any more but a pleasure. Thanks for sharing your experiences. My wife and I are getting so excited to get these machines. I hope you get many many years of flawless service! Since you guys have done much research on this machine, I figured I would ask:) Supposed to get rid the last remnants of detergent for sensitive people. In fact we spent yet another Saturday morning at the laundromat.I can't wait to get these new units!! As these units have been on the market longer I am seeing more reviews with a greater portion being positive. At least that is how I read it. If you go to their site, you can download the users guide. I love that little guy, however the heater is going and they don't make them anymore. I tried to get a heater, but no luck, even direct from Danby. I also have a lot more laundry now than then, so onto a bigger size for me. I'm hoping I can cut my 16 loads a week down to 8 or less. I am spending waaaaay to much time doing laundry these days. It took them all of 15 minutes to unpackage, prep, and install both items. It only took me another hour after they left to get things setup correctly. Well its still not perfectly level but someone stole my level so perfection will have to wait. I spent most of the weekend washing anything and everything I could find from towels to delicates to heavy winter quilts and comforters. The controls are easy to use and the manual has a great deal of easy to follow instructions. The loudest part of the cycle is filling with water. Even the final max spin is quiet (probably quieter with a proper level). Clothes did not ball up or twist and everything came out in as good a condition as it went in.
I didn't run any of the xxtrasanitary modes or anything so I don't know how long those take (manual provides a detailed list of times) but a standard load takes 1 hour to wash. It seems to default to a 1 hour dry time but then adjusts from there based on moisture remaining. Even with regular dry they were dry by the time I finished folding them so no worries there. The dryer is slightly louder than the washer but its not an issue. Still no need to close the laundry room door. Clothes come out wrinkle free and smelling fresh.another kudos to Charlie's soap.no fabric softener used at all! It alerts you when the load is done and seems to continue alerting you every 30 seconds or so which can get very annoying when trying to work at home. But they can be turned off so its easily remedied. I can't wait. Haven't been able to order them yet.I'm happy to hear they are running very quiet for you. I think you'll find you love the front loader. It is a transition that takes a bit of getting used to. You mentioned your amount of soap and that sounds fine, but you could also select the extra rinse if it seems you need to add more detergent in the future. Whites are perfect for this. I also leave my soap drawer open too for good air circulation. I do this all the time and have never had a problem with mold. I have read too many horror stories about the mold and odors. I did have a small level to use but I know its not perfect yet. It could use another 16th here and there but I think its close enough to avoid damage. No need to say appliance manufacturers are recovering this mania: latest frontloaders manuals give the very same Bigdogmom's advice The tub is not slanted so you get the whole bottom area for washing. Are you sure about this. Where did you see that it is a true H-axis machine? I was under the impression the only true-horizontal machines were the little EU ones (Asko, Miele) and Speed Queen but there it was, right out of New Bern NC.
Between that, the different paddles (shorter), totally new detergent drawer and stackable design it is pretty clear the washer is a significant redesign vs.The Axxis are true H-axxis. Tilted design involves also further axial stress for bearings. With small tilting angles is not an issue, but very tilted tub can't bear high spin speeds for decades True, Westinghouse Laundromats were very slanted and lasted for decades.Disappeared within 5 years. I have a Danby, eurostyle H axis and this one looks no different other than it is larger. This is the vision series, their newest. Check it out when you get a chance in person. Can't wait until I can order. I don't think there are any American-style XL front-loaders that are h-axis. If the Vision is, Bosch is missing a huge marketing opportunity. It might be easier on bearings, but I assume Miele's engineers know this also, and used appropriate bearings for their tilted drum. But the thing about the whole bottom area for washing -- I couldn't believe when I saw the SQ ad saying that about their front-loader. Seems to me that washing takes place in the saturated load throughout the drum, even if tilted. Someone also stated that the ALLERGY RINSE came up to the glass door. Can you confirm this? Thanks. Really hope that in New Bern they had the same mindset. Not Euro machines. Euro machines always use more water so you really can't compare the two. Will pull the trigger tomorrow to get a rebate but we are hoping you can answer a question for us. We can't find anything in the Bosch manual or on-line that addresses this. Manual for the GE6800 (other option) very clearly says that rinse will always be with cold. Thanks in advance. I would go to the bosch site and down load the manual again. It has a chart that shows pretty much what is what. Actually, I was concerned because I don't think I saw a warm rinse available and I'd like that.
I recently purchased the Bosch vision 500 washer and dryer, and love the washer, however nothing ever comes out of the dryer very dry (I should say slightly damp). It does not matter what setting is attempted. I get none of the error messages that I have read about. My vent tube is 7 feet long with one 90 degree bend and all is brand new. Should I panic, I have had the pair for just over a month, any suggestions A few things to consider: If you're using Normal, only ligher materials will be completely dried. Heavier fabrics like jeans will still be a little damp around the stitching and pockets. This is by design. For bone dry, use the other settings. If not, then it's a good indication that a service call is in order. When I first got my Bosch Vision 500 dryer, I had a similar problem to what you describe. Turns out that the louvres (the little horizontal flaps) on my vent hood outside, were warped and stuck shut from the heat of my previous dryer. I physically bent them open, and the errors went away. So I learned that you definitely need a clear vent path in order for all of the moisture to escape. If that solves the issue, then do the following: Would love to know.thanks. I'm trying to do the initial wash without cloths and no water will enter the washer. I then get a E:13 error message about 15 min into the cycle. I put old non-aquastop hoses on and still no water. I have a well pump that operates from 35psi to 50 psi. Any Suggestions.
