There is a hose at the back of the washer that is where the water usually comes out of, it has a U-bend on it. I have held that over a bucket and no water has come out. I have put it back and am trying to get the cap off the front of the washer (at the bottom) but it isn't budging. It has to be as flat to the ground as possible. Raise it to stop the water when you need to empty the container. If the water won't drain out of the drain hose and it's flat on the ground (not clipped up the back of the machine) it would suggest a major blockage in the internal drainage system of the machine. Is the hose coming out the bottom of the machine and running flat on the floor. My old washers hose was at the bottom but this one isn't. I have used a bowl to get water out of the drum but there is still water in bottom. You need to either get the cap at the front to slacken off or have a lot of towels ready for the flood. Can you post the full E-Nr number of your appliance from the label in the door recess. The one I've looked at has the drain hose at the bottom. If you take it off, it will flood out. Either way, you need to get the water out and you need to get the cap off so you can clean out the pump.
