Sprinklers may be adjusted with water on or off. It is recommended that initial adjustments be made before installation. The nozzle turret must be held in this position for arc adjustments. Turn the screw clockwise (into the stream of water) to decrease the radius, or counterclockwise to increase the radius. Radius can be reduced up to 25. Pull the riser up to gain access to the nozzle socket If a nozzle is already installed, it can be removed by backing out the adjustment screw and turning on the water, or by pulling outward on the nozzle “ears” with a pair of needle-nosed pliers. The “ears” should be adjusted so that the nozzle range screw threads directly down between them. Then tighten the nozzle range screw. The raised bump with an arrow on the rubber cover will always indicate the location of the nozzle and direction of water flow when the sprinkler is retracted. The right side arc can easily be realigned. One way to realign the right stop is to turn the whole sprinkler body assembly and the fitting below it, left or right to the desired position. This may require temporary removal of the soil around the sprinkler to allow you to grip the sprinkler housing. Once removed, rotate the nozzle turret to the right stop, screw the internal assembly back into the body with the nozzle aligned to the right side of the area you want irrigated. The blue works well if you intend to install 2 heads in same sqr footage where u wud normally only require 1. The red is still avail so we dont know why they send the blue hereThe nozzle was not installed. They did not come with the blue nozzles but with the red ones. They were not in individual packages. I usually get them at Home Depot for the same price. I should have gone there. Get them at HD don't buy these.The image is misleading because it shows a complete set of nozzles. You do NOT get a set. You DO GET one STANDARD NOZZLE installed in the head. These are very easy to install and adjust. Took me about 15 minutes. I will be buying more as I have been having my landscape guy handle this task. If you look on YOUTUBE Hunter has some great video that Amazon should load to their pages. I looked at some of my other heads and they have red AND blue nozzles. Both colors fit but have varied flow rates. Buy it if you need a PGP head. The circle can be adjusted from 40 to 360 degrees and the radius from 22' to 52'. The set came with 8 different nozzle sizes and 1 adjustment wrench. I am very happy with this new Hunter rotor. Highly recommended.Price was good. The supplier even included two tootsie pops with delivery. Sprinkler heads were not in original mfg packaging. Maybe they are bulk purchased? That’s ok. But they did not include a nozzle installed in the head. Didn’t realize that until after in installed and tried to run it. I tried installing one of the nozzles that was provided by the supplier. The sprinkler nozzles that they provided were different color (red) than the ones that are provided in box (blue) from Home Depot. The red nozzles provided by the supplier were difficult to install. The red nozzles seemed to be a lesser quality.
Fortunately I had left over blue nozzles from my last purchase at Home Depot. The blue nozzles worked fine with the new sprinkler heads.They are rugged and easy to maintain and are sent with about a dozen spray nozzles of different angles shapes and other geometry. I busted a pipe doing some digging in my front yard, and they came highly recommended. They did a great job, quickly, and for a great price. In addition to the pipe that I broke, they found a sprinkler head that had been stuck below the yard surface for months and fixed it on their own initiative, without fuss and without charging more than the agreed upon price.
