Each channel can be individually configured for the output range required for your application. The module has no jumpers or switches for configuration. All eight channels are updated every 12 milliseconds. User data in the AQ registers is in a 16-bit 2 s complement format. In current modes, an open-wire fault is reported to the CPU for each channel. The module can go to a known last state when system power is interrupted. As long as user power is applied to the module, each output will maintain its last value, or reset to zero, as determined by how you have configured the module. LED Test: Any time the Restart pus hbutton is released, all the LEDs flash ON. You should visually verify that all the LEDs go OFF and then ON at this time. Then th e Interface performs either a restart, a rest art and enter Software L oad state, or a restart and en ter Maintenance state, dep endi ng on the dura tio n that you p ress t he pu shb utton. Restart: Pressing the Restart pushbutton momentarily (less th an 5 seconds) requ ests a restart of the Ethernet Interface. When the R estart pushbutton is pressed, all L EDs go out.
