Hope

Hope was formed in the 80s by a couple of British aerospace engineers who were dissatisfied with their mountain bike brakes. Using their machining skills, they made disc brakes that were good enough to sell, which allowed a factory upgrade from a shed to a mill. New doors opened, and soon Hope was getting global recognition for their hubs and disc brakes. Now they make everything to build an entire bike except the frame (which is in the works).
